The Maniac Event Security, founded by Big Alz and Jesse Maio, two seasoned professionals with over 20 years of experience in the security industry. With a foundation rooted in their extensive involvement in fight nights, both Jesse, a professional boxer, and Big Alz, a combat coach, recognised the necessity for better security services at such events. Their combined expertise spans various domains including event security, door supervision, close protection, monitoring, static security, as well as management and consulting, ensuring a well-rounded team dedicated to providing top-quality security solutions.

Jesse Maio

Founder & CEO

Co-founder Jesse Maio, also known as The Maniac, brings over a decade of experience in security and as a professional athlete. The Maniac Event Security, was built on the back of his ring name. Jesse's role involves managing the back end of the business but is not afraid to work on the front line.

Co-founder Alz, known as Big Alz, is a proud family man and an experienced combat sport coach with over a decade of security experience. His invaluable role involves co-ordinating and managing our team, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a cohesive working environment.

Shift Manager Abel Fotuali'i-McGeady, a dedicated family man, brings ten years of experience to his role. Known for his strong work ethic, he is one of our original security guards

Shift Manager

Shift Manager Leatahi Dale, better known as Tahi, has over a decade of experience in the security field. Alongside his passion for rugby, he dedicates his time to coaching his son's rugby team, showcasing his reliability and commitment both on and off the field.
